So I have approval to get the gtube placed on Monday, May 16th. Then the tube has to be in place for at least 3 weeks before getting the ERCP and Sphincterotomy procedure. Then comes the dark before the dawn.
The bariatric surgeon warned about pain while having the gtube in. Duh.. I am already in pain hell.. what difference is a little more going to make? (When I bitch about the pain of the gtube, please do NOT remind me of that comment!)
There are always going to be risks and possible complications in any procedure. No matter how simple or routine it is. I took a risk by having this gastric bypass surgery. Even after going thru all of this crap, I would still do it again. These are all just little hiccups on the road to wellness. In five years (fingers crossed) all of this will be behind me and I will be the picture of great health.
There has to be a reason for this obnoxious stomach pain. I am willing to take the risk of possible side effects. I have to. I have to try whatever is within my grasp to get rid of this pain. I have to for Anthonys sake. I had the surgery to help with the weight, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc so that I could be there for him. This is all just temporary BS in the whole scheme of life...
And thanks again to Gloria (just hung up with her a minute ago) because of her, I will have continued health coverage.. If I had a million dollars, I would give it to her. She is worth every penny. Although, if I had a million dollars, I wouldnt need her assistance.. LOL!! SHE ROCKS!!!!!
