LOL... not.. But every day that I live and breathe is paradise! Mowed the lawn the other day and if that wasnt enough, I weed wacked as much as the cord allowed. Holy shaking arms for hours afterwards. Even 3 days later my arms hate me. No pain, no gain.. well.. gain muscle and lose fat.
I have been borrowing 2 of my neighbors dogs every day and taking them for a brisk walk. They do a happy dance when I walk in because they are just so excited. If that doesnt get you motivated to do it every day, I dont know what would. They like to walk quickly and so with my long stride, it works out well. I would love to be able to build myself up to run with them, but for now I am too chicken. Just enjoying the walks in the cooler weather.
Every day for me is a struggle. Some days are easier than others, but still always a struggle. I have commited myself to doing something to make me ache every day, conquer one small part of the house and make it better, and not to eat anything on the no-no list. Baby steps... slow progress is better than no progress at all.
I am hoping that doing this kind of thing every day will do a few things. Help me with the rest of the weight I need to lose, make my house cleaner and safer, mentally help my drowning spirits and to be able to get a real job.
It's a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life.
